Fireside Healing

The world is fast-paced. We can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s not enough to do one thing at a time; it’s expected that we multi-task at all times. We care for others but find it difficult to care for ourselves.

Let me offer an alternative. What would happen if you were nurtured? What is your body saying to you? It is by pausing, paying attention, and making conscious decisions that we can make changes that can affect our lives for the better.

About Ann

I have been a massage therapist since I graduated from CenterPoint school of Massage and Shiatsu in 2004. I love doing massage and I tailor each massage to the client, whether the massage is for relaxation or working on a specific problem.

I am also a Bio-energy practitioner. When I started massage, I found there was an exchange of energy that also happened. I didn’t understand it so I searched for a place to study, a place that would give me a grounded education in the body’s energy system.  I found that at Rukha® Academy of Healing Arts and Science and graduated in May of 2012.

I am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Why the name Fireside?

The obvious reason is the fireplace in my healing room. Another reason is that I love to build campfires. Most significantly, whenever I do energy work or massage, my hands become very warm because of the energy moving through them.
